Relaxed vibe at this Hungarian owned run restaurant. Set back from the road, with open sides to the trees in Summer, you are under cover but the feeling is alfresco. It is buzzy with good service and very good Portuguese food influenced by Mozambique’s peri peri and prawn culture.
There is attention to details. The Portuguese rolls are warm and oven fresh, the seafood perfectly cooked. Try the delicious Cataplana or Seafood Pot – a mixture of seafood cooked in a traditional Cataplana dish with olive oil, garlic, braised onions, peppers, tomato, white wine and a hint of peri-peri. Along with seafood platters, the peri-peri chicken is very popular.
Closed Christmas and Boxing Days, New Year’s Day and Easter Sunday and Monday.
