A banana farm which you can tour and also find lots and lots of things to do for young and old. Allow good time as it is fun here.
Where to start??? Pony rides for youngsters. A Butterfly Dome with an education centre. Mac Farmyard Animals where some can be petted.
There are self-drive Quad Bikes, Mac Paintball with its own enclosed War Zone, 18 hole Adventure golf as well as 9 hole putt putt, Mac Conquer and Obstacle Challenge plus the Mac Archer and Airgun Range. There are wetlands with bird watching, too. Little ones keep occupied in the play areas.
When you need a break, there are a variety of simple lunches at the Banana Cafe, including toasted sandwiches and delicious pancakes with 30 different sweet and savoury toppings (like ice cream & banana or savoury salmon), coffee, fruit shakes, fruit cocktails and milkshakes. Eat inside or outside, surrounded by the lovely garden and banana trees. If you’re lucky, you might get a visit from the local monkeys or the peacocks.
Before you leave, find the Plant Nursery, the Ice Cream Parlor, the Farm Stall, the Bakery with speciality breads or plan your child’s next birthday party here. Mac Banana is almost a little village!
