Monkeyland-KZN is the newest addition to the award-winning South African Animal Sanctuary Alliance (SAASA).

It is the largest free-roaming multi-specie primate sanctuary in Africa.

Go on a guided walking tour of this stunning indigenous forest and see how many species of exotic primate and indigenous wildlife you and your guide can find. Learn about their unique behaviours and characteristics and the threats and challenges they face both in the wild, and in captivity.

Guided tours are offered in English and isiZulu and depart from reception every 15 minutes; the last tour departs at 4pm.

There is a souvenir shop at the reception area as well as a children’s jungle gym and a state of the art environmental cinema.

Find out about membership for locals and visit as often as you like.

A restaurant will open at the site later this year.

A great day out for all the family.
