The site of the first battle of the Anglo Boer War, the museum nestles below the hill.
There are a number of buildings housing different topics including the Battles of Anglo-Zulu and Anglo-Boer Wars. There is also the Ghandi Museum in the lovely stained glass courthouse where he was tried.
An annual enactment of the Battle of Talana takes place, when there is no pandemic and is well worth attending.
