Our African drum shop & workshop is located at the Castle-on-Main, a quaint castle built in 1952. From here we teach, host, carve, create, customise, repair & sell authentic, unique hand made Djembe drums.
The Drumshack is also home for the weekly community drum jam, where we welcome all to experience the rhythms from our group drumming sessions. This drum circle is open to all – to experience group drumming, to appreciate percussion as a music form in its own right, to release and to upload positive rhythmic energy from the loud sound and vibrations from the drums! Welcome to the Drumshack Experience, a playful, expressive and energetic environment to collaborate and create music.
Drop in to bring your forgotten drum in for a makeover. You can visit anytime to learn about African drumming and try it yourself.
Bring your friends or the whole family for a really fun African beat evening. Feel the pulse of Africa around the fire in our amphitheatre. You can try the drums out or just enjoy the evenings rhythmic offerings. It will be an evening to inspire & warm hearts and emotions.
Drumming circles are also good team building exercizes for staff bonding.
