Our family has created 6 beautiful cottages and provide a welcoming and enjoyable stay.
24 Degrees South is a small 90 hectare private nature estate with small game, at the mouth of the Blyde River Canyon. Enjoy spectacular mountain views and wide open space where one can walk, bike ride and enjoy the property. You might see wildebeest, impala, mongoose, monkeys, duiker and others.
The self- catering chalets are spacious, secure and tranquil. There are no food options on the property which is conveniently located in the greater Hoedspruit area. Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Center as well as the Endangered Species Center are nearby. There are numerous restaurants, shops, and other tourist attractions in close proximity and it is 40 mins to the Orpen gate of the Kruger National Park.
Accommodation Choices
24 Degrees South is family run. With clean modern, lines the chalets offer comfortable air- conditioned bedrooms and living areas with TV, WiFi and braai facilities. Bed linen is high quality and there are bathroom amenities. Bathrooms are good with w/c and shower. Kitchens and kitchenettes are fully equipped.
Each unit has a private entrance and secure parking on the property.
Studio Apartment
Enjoy a large covered deck, a private pool and breath taking mountain views.
Open plan living room. Two air-conditioned bedrooms, both en-suite with shower, basin and w/c. Main has a king XL bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. A separate kitchenette has a small fridge and coffee station.
Bush View Chalet 2
A cosy lounge, and a private patio with peaceful bush views. There are twin XL beds in the air-conditioned main bedroom and an additional single bed in the lounge area. One bathroom.
Farm House
The original farmhouse includes a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, dining area, office, patio with an outdoor braai, and a private pool. It has three bedrooms, the main suite features a king-size bed with an en-suite bathroom, while the two smaller bedrooms share a bathroom — one with a king bed and one with two single beds. Guests can enjoy a private entrance and plenty of parking.
Red Rock Villa
A luxurious one bedroom retreat with a king-size bed and a beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom. The villa boasts spectacular mountain views plus a lounge, patio, and private pool.
Waterside Cottage
A serene escape on a picturesque dam. The cottage features two en-suite bedrooms — one with a King XL bed and the other with two single beds.
Guests can relax on the front deck, take a dip in the plunge pool, or enjoy a braai in the spacious boma.
Shepherd’s Tree Villa
2 en suite bedrooms featuring a king-size bed in the main room and two single beds in the second room.
The private patio has beautiful views. Completely off-grid, so no load shedding issues.
