AfriCamps at Oakhurst is situated on Oakhurst Farm, one of the few remaining large working farms along the Garden Route with a large farmed area and 200 hectares of pristine fynbos and indigenous forest. Eight AfriCamp tents offer stunning views over rolling green fields with grazing cows and horses. plus the majestic Outeniqua Mountains.
There is a lot to do: Fish or take a canoe out on the large farm dam. Enjoy the views of the Outeniqua Mountains from your private outdoor wood-fired hot tub. The farm has kilometres of well-maintained single tracks through the forest for cycling and trail running. Enjoy the hiking trail. Children can watch cows being milked and calves being fed or ride in the Cycle Park. The horse riding trails are special.
The tents are large with decks and braai facilities. Maximum 5 people in each. Each has a private hot tub.
Inside is open plan with kitchen, lounge and dining room plus fireplace with sliding doors onto the deck and views. There is air conditioning. 2 bedrooms have 2 extra length Queen beds and a single bunk bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with 4 plate gas stove, air fryer, toaster, oven and bar fridge.
The bathroom has a shower, basin and w/c. All linen, towels and bedding, is included. The beds have heated blankets.
Extras: Firewood can be delivered as well as a Breakfast and Braai Basket, with all the ingredients you need for a delicious locally sourced meal.
