Alpha Greeff, a resident printmaker and artist accompanies people who are interested in seeing and experiencing more of the art in Nieu Bethesda.
It is a carefully planned route that points out and visits other works of art and interest in the village. It is not a strenuous walk and takes roughly an hour to complete.
Along the way one can see the house where Athol Fugard wrote The Road to Mecca, the Dutch Reformed Church, a beautiful example of Cape Gothic architecture. A Labyrinth and Scupture Garden offers food for the eyes and food for thought.
The inspiration behind a Guardian Angel is discussed and the walk concludes at the Infinity Gallery, not far from where it started.

Alpha is happy to include and show visitors her fascinating Printmaking Studio and explain what Printmaking involves. She is also happy to show visitors where well known sculptor Ryno Greeff works and makes his Stonefolk. These studio visits are by appointment only and are free of charge.
