Using natural and dyed South African grown cotton, Barrydale Hand Weavers work the way our ancestors worked, using a loom and hand held shuttle.
29 locals have trained over the years to become competent weavers and provide a beautiful products which range from dish cloths, to towels, rugs, tableware, throws, cushion covers, baby items and accessories. Upcycled wate material is used making Barrydale Weavers an eco and community project which feeds over a hundred in the community who are the weavers’ families.
