Beach and Bush Riding Trails
From small beginnings in 1998 just as a beach and bush horse trail destination, three women with three horses, Cintsa Horses has grown. Newhampshire Farm has 236 acres and many horses and ponies, some formerly rescued by the SPCA.
The beach trails were our only form of income until 14 years ago when a volunteer project was set up. We are a service provider for Buccaneers Backpackers also an international destination for tourism. We have no government funding or sponsorship so the centre is kept going by the trails and volunteers who pay to join us. This helps with the cost of rescuing and very often the purchase of the rescued horses, their medication, work by the farrier and dentist, veterinary cost and all the other expenses that come with caring for horses.
So, enjoying a stunning 2 hour trail across pristine and beautiful beach on one of the planet’s perfect coastlines, is not only a brilliant thing to do, but you are helping these lovely horses and the centre that has provided a forever, loving home for them. The ponies you ride are working for those back on the farm!
