I offer a range of locally designed and manufactured ladies’ and mens’ clothing. The ethics behind Flow are to practice more responsible & conscious methods to create and manufacture the products, and also to uplift small cottage industries & support local suppliers.
The design, development & garments are locally created from my home in Waterfall and in small, local informal factories to ensure that the process has as little impact on the environment as possible. Print & embroidery production are also kept close by so as to reduce the carbon footprint of the manufacturing and procuring process. The products largely draw inspiration from Bohemian, Hipster and Vintage styles.
The fabrics consist of locally sourced cotton and cotton blends for the tee shirts and natural fibers (silk, cotton & mohair) as well as soft voile & chiffon for the ladies wear. Re-purposed sari fabrics and Afro-centric cotton prints are used. The tee shirts are made in South Africa or sourced from SADEC countries
