There is a delightful little market with food stalls, curios and craft stalls in a shady picnic area at the historic Inchanga Station. It is held when the Umgeni Steam Railway runs.
The market takes place along the platforms and under the trees at the lovely old and historic Inchanga Station. The market is easily explored. You can drive there very easily and it is close to the N3 exit or, for a great day out, catch the old steam Choo Choo at Kloof Station and picnic before returning on the train. The floods have destroyed part of the railway line, so check for dates when it is being held on the Facebook site…just click on the logo below.
Look out for the Christmas Markets which are fun. Every day that a train runs, there is a market.
