Known for its golf, the resort also has hiking trails from 20 minutes to 6 hours for beginners and advanced hikers, getting walkers to enjoy the best of the area. There is tennis, squash, bowls, swimming, mountain biking, trail running, horse-riding, fishing and 4×4 routes.
We pride ourselves in giving a Katberg experience in everything we do from growing our own vegetables to sourcing our meat from local suppliers. Meals are a celebration of traditional and freshly prepared farm fare enjoyed and frequently mentioned in reviews. On Friday afternoons, indulge in a sumptuous High Tea. In summer, request a picnic or try the poolside cafe fare, or snacks around a roaring fire in winter. Whatever the season, our sundowners set the tone for completely relaxing time out!
All accommodation opens onto the gardens and each has WiFi, a room safe, tea/coffee station and fan. All have seating areas. Beds are dressed in percale linen and en-suites have amenities. There are no TVs so you can embrace this natural environment.
