Family and Small Log Cabins
Dotted along the river, these are large and airconditioned, with a spacious open plan lounge, dining and fully equipped kitchen including a big fridge. There is a sleeper sofa in the lounge for younger children or a guest. Patio doors open onto your covered private deck and braai area where you can watch the sunset over the river. There is parking space alongside your cabin and shade.
There is electricity and each has extra plug points for charging your devices. There is housekeeping daily.
Family cabins can accommodate 4 to 6. They have 2 ensuite bedrooms, with double beds, plus a single bed and a sleeper sofa bed in the lounge. One cabin is wheelchair friendly. Bathrooms have w/c, basins and showers.
The small cabins have an extra length King sized bed and the bedroom sliding doors open onto the deck. The en suite has w/c, basin and shower.
Glamping in the Tented Camp
Beautiful canvas colonial units offer couples and small families a unique experience next to the river. Step out of your tent and into the river for a swim.
The romantic tents are open plan and can sleep a family of 4 if the younger kids are happy to share the sleeper couch. The outside kitchenette keeps you connected with nature. Each tent has 2 single beds, a double sleeper couch, patio with a braai, a fully equipped kitchenette and a bathroom with w/c, basin and shower.
The built in water air cooler, fluffy towels and breathtaking river views complete the experience.
Camping
8 modern and private stands. Each has its own braai and patio, luxury bathroom and wash-up, plugs and power points. Each stand can accommodate 1 vehicle with a trailer or Caravan or a family of 6.
There are 10 additional standard campsites which are spacious with grass and trees, access to power points and normal and blue plug power points (Not all the stands have power points, but a long lead will reach a power point). All standard campsites use the ablution facility which is centrally located and also offers a washline and dishwashing basins with hot water.
Off-road trailers, Explorer Caravans, Campervans and Sedan vehicles travel quite comfortably to and from, adding to the adventure of being in the beautiful Green Kalahari’s Arid landscape.
We don’t book stands we work on a first come basis most guests like to find a nice spot that they are happy with. We sell wood and ice, fire lighters and matches. There is a pool, deck and bar as well as a restaurant for guests to enjoy.
