This is a beautifully decorated, secluded, privately owned and run lodge. Situated within the two kilometer buffer zone of the World Heritage Site, UKhahlamba Drakensberg Mountain Range. The lodge is very close to the world famous Monk’s Cowl hiking trails.
Surrounded by breath taking views and mountain streams, which run through the garden. There are a few short, walking trails on site along the Sterkspruit river and through more than two hundred year old indigenous forests with massive yellow wood trees. Various game including mountain reed buck can be seen in the lodge grounds and it is a bird lover’s paradise.
Accommodation includes dinner, bed and breakfast, so you can just relax, hike and swim in the crystal clear stream waters. When you want to explore the area, there is an abundance of local external activities such as horse riding, forest zip line trails, San Bushman art, ballooning etc.
