Leopard’s Lair is a guest house situated perfectly between Giant’s Castle Game Reserve in the world heritage, Drakensberg, and the Midlands, KwaZulu Natal.
It’s one of those lovely places full of family atmosphere. You aren’t just a guest, you’re family! Our mission is to turn your stay into a memorable experience. This is a “real, working farm”, offering all kinds of agri- tourism experiences. You can bottle feed lambs, collect free range hen eggs, meet Lallie the tame Eland, meet the emus, the ostriches and the rest of the farmyard menagerie. Life is lived at a gentler pace.
Leopard’s Lair offers affordable and spacious, family accommodation with a choice of either dinner, bed and breakfast or self-catering. Accommodation is available for seven people. There is a lapa and lovely open fire for sitting around and enjoying the jewelled African skies.
Our two boys are ambassadors and can’t wait to share their fun and adventure, including a little touch of naughtiness, with any willing guests. Let your kids try their hand at fishing or canoeing. Outdoors is the best source for fun and your kids will be entertained for hours while you finish reading your book in peace.
We offer you a comfortable and homely base with many attractions a short drive away, but you can of course come here and do absolutely nothing. We don’t mind!
