Overlooking a river with ducks, your own bridge is a lovely lily ponds walk with the feel of English countryside.

Elegant, both outside and in, with high ceilings and shuttered windows. Decor is understated and comfortable.

The house has two spacious en-suite double rooms at opposite ends, a fully fitted open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area, desk as well as an outside entertaining space with braai and swimming pool.

When you do not feel like self catering, there is an excellent restaurant on the estate, the Orangerie.

WiFi is provided, a TV with satellite channels plus nice touches such as bathrobes and slippers make this a welcoming stay. The bathrooms have a lovely Victorian bath as well as a shower.

Air-conditioning as well as underfloor heating is available. Parking is off street.

There is a garden and the verandah has views of the mountains and vineyards.

The villa is serviced daily.

The House is suitable for 2 couples or small families, giving guests absolute privacy as well as the experience of staying on a working wine estate. You may also book the entire villa as a single couple.

Situated 300 metres from Franschhoek Monument in Franschhoek, this is an easy base to explore from. Just a km to saunter to Franschoek and its restaurants and lovely shops.
