“With two decades of experience in graphic design and advertising, my passion for art has been a constant since childhood.
While I have a preference for oils, I also paint with acrylics and charcoal, in addition to creating hand-printed lino artwork. My subjects vary from portraits and seascapes to wildlife and beyond.”
“Painting is my favourite means of expression; it serves as my outlet and my passion. Through the challenges of ‘real life,’ I have become acutely aware of the connection between art and emotion, guiding me on this path with a newfound conviction and understanding. I am captivated by the journey, not just the destination. The creative process, along with problem-solving and trusting the unknown within, brings me a sense of meditation and fulfilment.”
“Growing up on the KZN South Coast and studying in Cape Town, I now run a studio in Ballito that serves as a welcoming gathering point for creators and art lovers to connect, collaborate and find connection with like-minded friends. Ballito Art Collective is a space designed for creative freedom and expression.”
