I paint as a celebration of life. My style is impressionistic and my passion is figure painting and I also enjoy figurative landscapes and flowers namely proteas and roses. The other loves of my life are my family, cooking, gardening and travel.

Between 1977 and 1989 I worked in ceramics. In 1990 I started painting in watercolours and then moved onto oils which I currently enjoy. I have had no formal training but worked under the tutelage of several artists. I have participated in several group and solo exhibitions. In 2000 I participated in the “Human Rights” Exhibition in the USA. In the same year I appeared on Top Billing, a magazine programme that showcased my work in my home. In 2006 I participated in the “Satyagraha” exhibition (Tribute to Ghandi) in Dehli, India. Currently I have works in the Netherlands.

I welcome visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays by appointment.
