Part of a picturesque farm, Riverdene Lodge appeals to the adventurous spirit as there are endless opportunities for hiking, cycling and general exploration! The Gats River meanders through our breathtaking kloof, where rock pools make for a fun dip once the rains have come. Unwind on the patio after an adventurous day out and enjoy a crackling fire under the stars in our outdoor barbeque area.
Once an old shearing shed, the lodge makes for an idyllic getaway. The lodge is large and has lots of charm yet features many modern comforts. It comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. This is a working Karoo farm, so the sights and sounds of this life won’t be far from your doorstep.

2 spacious double bedrooms with Queen beds. One is ensuite with shower, w/c and basin. One twin single bedded room. Second bathroom is shared.
A fully fitted open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen is fitted with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, microwave, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area contains a 6-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge area contains seating and a fireplace.
Outside, there is a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and chairs, where you can relax and unwind. Enjoy a crackling fire under the stars in the sheltered outdoor braai area with both a built-in braai and a firepit. The lodge has a lovely outlook for when you want to relax and soak up the mountain view.
Free WiFi and parking. Good car clearance is necessary as the farm has gravel roads. A bonus is great Karoo hospitality from Kelly and Dale. For times you do not want to self- cater, Neu Bethesda is close by for very good dining options.
