Sabi Sands Game Reserve, adjacent to South Africa’s flagship Kruger National Park, offers a safari experience found nowhere else in the world. Game viewing possibilities are simply unparalleled, including the much sought after ‘Big 5’ and over 300 bird species. There are no fences between Kruger National Park and the private Sabi Sands Game Reserve, so wildlife roams freely in a huge natural environment.

This luxurious lodge in the game rich Sabi Sands overlooks a large waterhole which makes it perfect to view some of Africa’s best wildlife without having to leave the lodge. On arrival at Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge you immediately get the sense that Sabi Sabi is the ideal game reserve to experience an authentic and luxurious African safari. It is a traditional lodge with a sense of its history. Décor includes artefacts from all over the African continent. Dining is both indoors and outdoors in the boma and the cuisine is outstanding.

Besides 2 daily game drives, there are 2 pools to enjoy, a gym and walking safaris. Alternately relax on the deck overlooking the waterhole with something deliciously icy in your glass.

When on safari with one of the rangers, they may drive off-road (something that is strictly prohibited in Kruger National Park). So, when following a leopard, your ranger is allowed to follow it in the bush. An amazing experience and worth a trip to the bush on its own.
