Scottburgh caravan resort, situated right on the beach, is one South Africa’s biggest caravan parks with 265 sites. Many stands have a sea view and many are partially shaded on grass or gravel.
All stands are steps from the beach, have electricity, there are good laundry facilities and staff are available by prior arrangement for house keeping. Tents, caravans and camper vans are accommodated.
The South Coast’s good all year round climate, makes it the ideal caravan destination, and Scottburgh is the obvious spot to book a stay. Resort guests can visit the mini golf, or head to one of the many top fishing spots or local golf courses. Day trip the fascinating nature reserves in the vicinity or plan a deep-sea fishing or scuba-diving trip with a charter company. When it’s hot, head to the water slide 500 meters along the beach. The kids will love the super-tube, play park, volleyball, table tennis, trampolines and organised entertainment during peak season.
There are good ablutions which are wheelchair friendly and the entire resort is neat and clean. There is 24 hour security.
There is also one simply furnished, self-catering cottage right on the beach with air con, WiFi and DSTV. Sleeps 6.
A coffee shop is on site to make a break from cooking, a very yummy option.
Small dogs allowed out of season, with prior approval from management.
