Nieu-Bethesda Camino

The Nieu-Bethesda Camino is a 100km circular route around the Compassberg over 5 x days. The Compassberg (2502m) is the highest peak in the Sneeuberg range and also one of the highest peaks in the country outside of the Drakensberg. Come and reconnect to yourself and to nature in the beautiful Karoo in South Africa as you walk approximately 23km per day.

Included is time to sightsee in Nieu Bethesda, hike in the open Karoo along quiet gravel roads, hike and stay on working Karoo farms, hike and game drive in a nature reserve, stretch your muscles in a lovely indoor pool and enjoy good food.

All meals and accommodation at guest farms along the route, are included. Accommodation is in shared, comfortable double and twin bedded rooms.
