The Art Box is a captivating country retreat nestled on a quiet gravel road in Greyton. Owner Dee has curated a harmonious blend of vintage and contemporary aesthetics, elevating the space with touches of luxury and whimsy. Living quarters are expansive and complemented by a secluded outdoor haven with a 6 seater table, pool, hot tub, fire pit and pizza oven.
The open plan and fully fitted kitchen, leads to comfortable plush leather sofa and vintage arm chairs plus a 6 seater table. Winters are warmed by the roaring fire, winter sheets and heated blankets. A dishwasher eases after dinner work to give you a hassle free break.
The master bedroom has a Queen bed and is en-suite with a shower, basin and w/c. Warm, fluffy gowns are provided. The second bedroom is also en-suite with a shower and it has a sweet courtyard. Nestled privately in the garden is a hot water bath and separate hot water shower.
A fan and hot water bottles are provided for temperature changes. A safe gives you security and the cottage and garden are alarmed. Parking is off street and fenced. As the pool is unfenced, no young children are permitted. Weekend minimum stay is 2 nights. Long weekend and festival minimum stays are 3 nights.
Greyton is a charming village to explore. In between, you can nestle into the Art Box and relax, watching the birds at the feeders. There is WiFi but no television. Solar powered electricity and fairy lights in the garden, so don’t worry about load shedding!.
