Umtamvuna River Lodge is a family holiday destination on the banks of the Umtamvuna River, near Port Edward.
With comfortable, peaceful accommodation nestled between the palm trees, there are many activities to keep young and old engaged.
The lodge is intimate with just 8 spacious suites. All have king size beds with cotton percale linen, en-suite bathrooms with showers and baths, sofa, mini bar, flat screen TV with open view, air conditioning and fans plus a wooden deck. There is parking and free WiFi.
The private river beach is a playground for water sport activities including cruises up the river, wake boarding, speed boating, stand up paddling and canoeing.
There is a lovely pool with entertainment lapa and bar as well as the public seaside beach which is just a 12 minute walk away. A nature reserve is alongside the lodge for lovely walks. Alternately, just laze in the hammock and watch the river go by.
The lodge hosts weddings, functions and kiddies parties too.
