The house has 5 spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and sleeps 10 people comfortably. It is pet friendly with permission. There is unlimited Wi-Fi internet in all areas plus Netflix and Showmax TV Streaming.
Comprises 2 separate units: The Main House with 3 of the en-suite bedrooms and The Apartment of 2 en-suite bedrooms attached to the house but with separate entrance. Over the December and January school holidays, both must be booked together.
This is a bird watcher’s paradise with canopy species in the surrounding forest and water birds in the floodplains below.
The Main House
The spacious lounge area has a large Smart TV with Netflix and two comfortable couches, lots of cushions, and blankets. There’s a wood-burning stove to keep you warm all winter. A reading nook on the top-level invites you to curl up with a book from the extensive library. Board games and puzzles are provided.
A large farm style kitchen has all you need to cook a feast and host a large gathering. There’s a large fridge, gas stove, double electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, steamer and a filter coffee machine. There is both rainwater and municipal water taps. There’s also a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
The indoor dining area can seat ten people comfortably at an antique oak farm table surrounded by uninterrupted views of the river. A covered outdoor dining area is the perfect place to braai, eat and entertain. The kitchen opens up to this area through a folding window. So the chef is always part of the party.
The main Kingfisher Suite has large panoramic windows with stunning views. It has a luxurious extra-length king size bed, plus block out curtains for those wanting to sleep in.The large en-suite bathroom has a double basin, spacious shower and a bath for two with view of the forest and river.
The cozy Loerie Room has two 3/4 size beds and has a lovely view over the indigenous garden. It has a separate bathroom right next door with its own shower and bath. Close to the Kingfisher Suite, it is perfect for kids.
Located in the loft area above the main level is the Sunbird’s Nest… a bright and spacious area with stunning views through large gabled windows. There are two ¾ size beds, a TV with DSTV and a workspace with large desk. A movable screen divides the living space from the bathroom with freestanding bath, basin and a toilet.
The Apartment
On the lower level of the house, with a separate entrance via stairs is The Apartment. The lounge has a flat screen TV and a comfortable 3 seater sofa plus a small writing desk and a collection of books. It is open plan to the kitchen with a breakfast nook with stools. It is fully equipped with a fridge, an electric stove with oven, a kettle and a toaster. There’s a lovely six-seater wooden dining table on the deck.
The River Suite has two ¾ beds which can be used as twins or pushed together. It has sliding door access to the large deck and offers views of the river. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and single basin.
The Forest Suite has two ¾ beds which can be used as twins or pushed together.It has sliding door access to the large deck and the forest. There is a freestanding bath, a luxurious walk-in shower with views of the indigenous garden and a separate toilet.

General information: Located in a private cul-de-sac, 1.5 km from the beach and fully fenced with an electric remote controlled gate, a garage and secure off-street parking. An alarm system is linked to a security company with interior and exterior beams.
The seaside village of Kleinemonde is about 15 km from Port Alfred and 33 min (40.7 km) from Kenton-on-Sea. It has pristine white sand beaches and two saltwater lagoons which offer excellent opportunities for fishing, swimming, canoeing, birdwatching and boating.
