I came to photography many years ago… around 1970. My pursuit of the mystic photon endures.
Film, it’s mysteries and it’s relationship to light was a challenge. The shift to digital from film was a challenge.
If it has no challenge, it has no point.
My journey of the moment is an exploration on two themes;
EDGE OF LIGHT.
It is right on the edge of darkness that we find the edge of light. Made possible by high performance sensors,
it explores the subtle palette of the predawn and light refracted… through the atmosphere, through mist, fog, smoke, or any diffusive light path.
An exhibition of 32 selected works are available for view at the EDGE OF LIGHT GALLERY,
SPACE BEYOND TIME.
