This cafe proves that some animals are more equal than others! The Blue Cow Cafe has a number of awards. Their food is beautifully presented, all home made from produce that is as local as possible. It is very tasty and portions reflect that this is a farm cafe.

Overlooking the ‘waterfront’ which is a large farm dam, you have expansive views to enjoy while you tuck into breakfast, lunch or their excellent cakes and very good coffee or milkshakes. There is warm Karoo hospitality here and it is a place where you can just relax and enjoy the frequent visits by birds.

The Blue Cow is just 1 kilometre from Barrydale, and said to be the best coffee shop on the R62 by ‘EatOut’, so do not miss it.
