We would not usually include a fish and chip shop… but this one is SO good that it must be on!
Your table is at the harbour, and the fish is straight off the boat. It is a simple self service queue to order and wait, then eat in or take away. You will get the real place, not sanitized and touristy so expect plastic cutlery, stainless steel plates and plastic table cloths which may be sticky as the turnover is high. Everyone eats here including tourists… it is just about the seafood!
There is a good choice of seafood: Gorgeous Snoek, Hake, Calamari, Crayfish in season, Peri Peri Prawns, affordable Seafood Platters and catch of the day including Tuna, Cape Salmon and Yellowtail. Vegetarians can have potato and spinach phyllo parcels… we shared this for a starter. Another starter is the prawn and vegetable samosa.
You can BYO or get cool drinks or a beer. No corkage charge if you bring wine and payment is cash only.

Park on Main Road and take a saunter to the harbour or there is a small parking lot opposite. No reservations…just go.
