Since opening to the public in December 2012, Oysters R Us has become a destination stop – not only for tourists and groups, but also for locals.
The heart and soul of the business is evident when meeting owners: Natasha De Freitas and Natalie Oliver. Their enthusiasm for the business, love of oysters and warm hospitality is instantly felt.
Only fresh oysters are available and these are sourced from the West coast.
Oysters are delicacies that can be enjoyed straight out of the water, or with lemon juice and Tabasco. Oysters R Us goes a step further and also offers this delicious seafood with different exiting toppings to create, for example, a Japanese or Vietnamese style.
The rustic open-air restaurant means that visitors savour their oysters while enjoying the gorgeous climate of the Garden Route.
There is a deli corner should you wish to create a delicious picnic platter with fresh bread, crackers, cheeses and pâté to compliment your oysters.
Come and see the oyster tank system that can hold and keep up to 4000 oysters live. This rustic experience is not to be missed!
