This 40km ride is a holiday ride across several interesting and productive private fruit farms. The ride and farms will give you some insights into the Klein Karoo including irrigation in a semi arid area. Near the end of the outward route you visit Metanoia where you can enjoy a gin tasting of their award winning wines. You will go through Joubert Tradouw Winery and we strongly suggest you taste their wines, also award winners. Lunch or their wine tasting platter of nibbles is a must as their food is excellent.

How it works is that you pop into the Karoo Art hotel, sign an indemnity and they take the courtesy of letting the farm owners know many of you will be riding through their land. We give you a map, cover any detail that you may need, send a WhatsApp pic of the group and …off you go.

The return takes you back to town. Relax on the Karoo Art Hotel’s veranda with a frosty beer, gin and tonic, or a great after exercise, South African Rock Shandy!
