This place has stunning views overlooking the Valley of a 1000 Hills. There seems to be a magnificent tranquility about these rolling hills, so named from the thousands of hills that line the horizon rolling towards the great Umgeni River.
There is a large undercover seating area on the verandah, an indoor area for icy Winter days and a tranquil dappled garden to relax in and enjoy the sunshine. Kids are welcome and have a good play area to allow their parents a bit of a break.
This is good home cooking. From generous Greek salads, healthy wraps or toasted sandwiches to home made pies, yummy chicken schnitzel smothered in cheesy sauce, curries and fish and chips. There is a big range as well as an amazing choice of coffees. Helpings are generous so you won’t leave hungry. A buffet roast on Sundays makes it a good day out as you eat while live music plays songs from memory lane. Totally decadent puddings include chocolate addicts heavenly offerings as well as very good cheese cake.
Book or get there early on weekends as it fills quickly.
