Lavendale
This lovely, small 2 bedroom self-catering in an old barn, has been beautifully re-worked by an architect. The pretty garden of various flowers, large areas of lavender and mountain views can be seen from the porch.
The Karoo Art Hotel****
A wonderful place to stay with creatively decorated suites. Much happens here in the heart of Barrydale, and warm hosts, Sue and Rick will guide you. It may be a pre-breakfast swim in the mountains, a cookery lesson with Chef Derek or enjoying their gallery of local artists.
Doorways
A number of comfortable self-catering suites, each opening onto a porch overlooking a pretty garden and distant mountains. Doorways warmly welcomes you and your pet. With one exception, the kitchenette is a communal one.
Kamala Karoo Sanctuary Guesthouse
This wellness guesthouse is an oasis in Barrydale with beautiful garden and walkways to encourage you to connect with nature. Enjoy the sauna, salt water pool and yoga studio. Suites are designed to lead you to relax and slow down.
Far Side Rustic Camp
Within a large property with access directly to the mountain, you will find a self-contained wooden cottage, a tepee and caravan. Each has a gas stove. The tepee and caravan share a communal bathroom. This is a back to nature experience.
